I began my yoga journey in 2012 and after two years of a self-taught/home practice, I joined a studio. I was drawn to yoga for reasons I didn't quite understand at first. Yoga didn't come easy to me, but it inspired me internally and that was enough for me. I experienced a personal transformation from a consistent asana practice and through learning of the teachings of yoga. I've gained more self-awareness and acceptance both physically and mentally which allows me to push my limitations on my mat and in my life and I hope to inspire and encourage a similar growth for my students in my classes.
