I started practicing yoga 6 years ago, when someone had told me it is beneficial for mental health and well being. I had tried yoga before, and was a bit skeptical of it, but decided to give it a go again since I had the opportunity. After consistently practicing for 4 years I began to see yoga pour into all aspects of my life, and I started to see all things through a clearer lens. Yoga provided me with many tools in dealing with the ups and downs of life. This tool, (one that we must practice constantly) of being at peace with any situation given to us in life, inspired me to become a teacher and share my practice with others.
My current practice is motivated by science based movement, and by my fellow teachers at Pura Vida. My goal in my teaching is to provide strengthening, safe classes that allow my students to challenge themselves through slowing down and self reflection.
